Hand Sketched SATOR Wooden Magical Square for Protection

Found in the ruins of 1st Century Pompeii, scribbled on walls, graffitied on buildings, this magic square roughly translates as "the Creator, to whom I crawl for help, controls all our endeavours and all the changes of fortune that befall us."

Used as prayers to Jupiter (or to God) or to Saturn (also God), archeologists believe it was used as protection, but also, as a reminder that when we fall on hard times, those times are times to sow.
